Life Throws You Curve Balls, You Learn to hit them out of the Park!

Three Bean Chili

Prep Time: 3 Minutes         Cook Time: 17 Minutes             Servings: 8-10

1 1/4 lbs ground beef
1 tbsp chili powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 cans (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with green pepper and onion
2 tbsp ketchup
1 can (16 oz) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (16 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
2 cans (16 oz) chili beans, undrained

In large Dutch oven or soup pot, brown ground beef. Drain unwanted fat. Add spices and stir well over medium heat 30-40 seconds or until well blended. Add tomatoes and ketchup. Stir well. Add pinto beans, black beans and chili beans.

Simmer over medium heat 10 – 15 minutes or until bubbling and heated through.

Serve hot in bowls with corn bread.
